  1. I opened up a bag of clay that I mixed, pugged, and wrapped over a year ago...I am more convinced than ever that age improves throwing (at least for the clay...hopefully for the maker).

      Preston can speak with experience in dealing with frozen/thawed clay. I still wedge my clay (perhaps less if pugged & de-aired)even if it has aged.

      Frozen clay is easy to start with wedging if you cut 2" off of each side of block and reverse to the inside, then let sit for a few more days.
