  1. This semester I'm starting the transition from Cone 10 reduction to Cone 6...is that like moving to "the dark side"? :)

      Mark ... some say they have gone to ^6 to save fuel and be more "green". Others say the cost of ^6 glazes is higher than ^10, so its a wash. Who knows.

      Are your going to ^6 redux or OX? Some say that ^6 redux gives a range that is greater than OX. I have often thought I would like to try it.

      If you are doing all the firing, you'll appreciate the reduced time. The pots look just the same as ^10 if you have nice glazes. Be sure you have a ^6 clay body.
