darn! ran out of likes! i like it.

rough out sizes of the finished pots to choose where to put the slab and roll it in. each shape can be different. the slab at the top is ready to be re-cut to final size.
-
thank you, i cannot figureout the gallery at all. cannot move things once they are here.
this tray will not be blue when i put a green glaze over it. it will darken but the leaves will be a beautiful green thanks to Min who worked out a great glaze for me.
-
congrats on a nice save.

love them! what a great idea turned into reality. one question, having bought a mug with a narrow mouth, i found i could not use it because the top hit my nose before i could drink from the other side, have you tried this size?

please be safe. manganese is not a material to be used without strict safety guidelines. there are other things that are not as toxic.
-
would be happy to take that lovely carpet to my house where it will not get clay on it.
-
looks like you have done it! great!

John F. Hesselberth, 26 Hanover Drive, West Chester, Pa. i don't have the zip code but it is easy to find. gotta go.
-
what does this measure? it looks very large, 15-18 inches high?
-
it is hard to realize that people will do strange things with our pots once they own them. this is such a beauty that you might consider saving it for your own collection.
it would be safer to make handles that are a little closer to the slab of clay and not projecting out so far. perhaps just a tiny bit thicker and very close to the edge of the pot would force people to use all their fingers under the handle and touching the slab itself and only a thumb guiding on the top.
i have hesselberth's address and will get it for you tomorrow. it is cold and dark right now.

not just macro but MACRO!
-
very nice! the handles might tempt someone to lift it by them. your stamps are well done and the layout is really good. it is beautiful and very large.
send a picture of it to hesselberth and roy. they like to know what we do with their glazes.
-
OK, now you need to add words to this wonderful feat of design and manufacturing.
-
i want to pet his nose. great color choices.
-
guinea, he is fabulous. you should send a photo to your glaze manufacturer so they can put you on the cover of their catalog.
-
what a great collection, a fine start!
-
i had silkies, you have got its essence!
-
nice! a tiny red spot on one branch could be a cardinal.
-
i guess i am getting old. the rain streaks are not parallel, some are wavy. of course, i don't have that great tool anymore, either.
-
the carving part is fast, i may have spent an hour on these.
-
i consider it a second, a friend said it was van gogh's starry, starry night.
-
do you have a video showing this technique?
-
and it does!
