Grasses bud vase

Thrown porcelain. Wax resist all over, carved when leather hard. Black underglaze inlay painted over and wiped back. Bisqued to 1000oC. Orange underglaze highlights added. Transparent glaze poured and dipped then fired to cone 6/7.

Hi Celia. I've just joined the forum here and have seen lots of fab advice from you and other members. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience, it's so helpful. I'm definitely becoming obsessed with pottery. Just bought a wheel and can see how much easier it will be to produce things at home instead of in a class. Next thing is to get a kiln...one day.
