Cavy Fire Studios
How would I go about making one, do you think? Like, make a tall cylinder with wire sticking out? What kinda wire do you think would work best? I only fire to ^03, so it doesn't have to endure crazy hot temperatures.
TJR
Get a soft brick. Poke some Kanthall wire into it.[element wire]. TJR.

Pugaboo
This is one I found on pinterest. This lady has a really good blog on bead racks and is very generous describing her home built bead racks. I want to try making a variation to suit my pieces using hers as a starting point. A very informative blog that I think could help you make what you need. http://www.lovesown.com/2013/03/making-bead-tree-for-kiln.html Terry
cstovin
i was just about ready to ask something along the lines of the same question - however, I fire to a hotter temp - up to cone 4; is there less expensive wire sources available for wire to withstand higher firing temps? thanks!
