Glaze Application With Spray Gun

Can anyone give me a cost effective brand name and source for spray guns/ spray booth to use in glaze application? Are the bottom cannister spray guns better/easier to handle when spraying for an extensive length of time?

I've also seen a lot of ggod thinggs about a detail sprayer with a gravity feed available Habor Freight. I've never used it but a lot seem to like it. I think the orifice would be too small and glog frequently but a lot do like it.

 

The Paasche uses less air and you can use a variety of bottles on the siphone. I like the squeeze type ketchup bottles one finds in a restaurant (or restaurant supply house) which are cheap and are larger than the the one that comes with the sprayer. You also need to replace the small pick-up tube because with the larger bottles it too short. great sprayer, easy clean up and failproof.

Great spray gun from Bailey. Advantage is the mechanical parts do not wear out from glaze chemicals...also, does not clog as often. Tip: buy extra containers for quick glaze changeovers.

and if you are pretty handy...a homemade idea....(my understanding is that you can get really creative with a squirrel cage - I think that is the name--from an HVAC parts supplies/company)

I use an "E-Z" sprayer that I got from Archie Bray Clay business ages ago. I have 4 additional jars for quickly changing glazes while spraying. It is a simple syphon sprayer/ I also use a Paasche air brush for applying underglazes. I have an old power pal compressor from Sears that I have also had for ages.
