(The old folks amongst this group will likely understand this post.) best, ................john John maybe we should have a X-rated forum to relate Paul Soldner encounters on for the young potters on this wild man of clay. I only met him three times and each one has a story and from what I understand he was on his best behavior at the time. Denice
bciskepottery
Google Linda and Charles Riggs . . . masters of the technique.
Marcia Selsor
Also David Roberts from UK is another master as well as Wally Assenbergh from the Netherlands. Linda, Charlie, Robert and Wally are all very accommodating. Robert is the one who introduced me to Diapads when we were both teaching at the Kelowna Clayfest in British Columbia. He uses them to clean off the resist slip. The surface of his work feels like a glaze after that. I am lucky to have gotten one o his pieces. bciskepottery
I was introduced to Diapads by Bill Van Gilder; that tip alone was worth the cost of the workshop. Use mine wet for cleaning up feet and bottoms after firing. I keep 100, 200, and 400 grit around.
