picture of the covered baking dish

Recommended Posts

So I am finally back to firing after some major electrical updates. Everything is working great and starting to finally run along smoothly and I am getting a ton of stuff fired that has been sitting around waiting. A few people wanted to see the baking dish so I thought I would share it and a few others from this last firing.

Buckeye,

I am totally impressed with the glazing! Isn't it great when you open the kiln, and the glazes turn out as sweet as these?

Love the turquoise oon the covered baker, and especially the two toned turquoise on the tea pot. Is it the same glaze or

are they two different ones? Do you mind sharing the glazes? I also would like to know the combo of the mortar and pestle glazes.

Poo would approve of the honey jar as well.

What temp. did you fire?

Let us know.

I am using Amaco potters choice glazes for the most part. The white I use (mostly inside bowls/mugs) is dry from my local supplier and buy 25 lbs at a time. I like some of the Potters choice glazes but I have had some mixed results. I just ordered 2 colors of dry from Glazemixer and soon I hope to make some of my own glazes, especially some ash glazes soon. I am firing to cone 6
