Graeme Anderson
Recently, the Australian Opal Centre ( australianopalcentre.com/) commissioned a short video on my pottery. All my pots are made of clay I've dug out of the opal mines here. Most of the pots I discuss are on display in the Opal Centre. Some of the coloured clays used may be of special interest to members, as well as some of the experiments. So, if you'd like to see how I look, and how I sound, here's the link. Cheers. irenepots
Hi Graeme, I tried the youtube link but it says the content isn't available. And on the big link you sent I can't find anything about you or your pottery. Please advise, I'd love to see it. Irene

Joseph Fireborn
Enjoyed it. I particularly liked the experimental attitude of just try it.

irenepots
Lovely video! Your pots are beautiful, I loved the swirly pots, and laughed out loud at your "comet" pot. I never would have thought of doing any of the things you experimented with. The crystal glazing is just gorgeous. If I'm ever in Australia I will be sure to drop by the museum and your shop. Thanks for sharing that with us.
hantremmer
Good video. I've been taking notes. The Ajax pot looks ancient, as if it had been uncovered from some long-lost tomb,
glazenerd
Glad to see someone being rewarded for their hard work. Graeme: You made one statement that I heard very clearly. In talking about how iron and copper are typically use in glazes; but you decided to use steel wool and copper wire, you then stated: " where is the fun in that." Man after my own heart, I understood the comment very well. Nice crystalline work. Nerd

Graeme Anderson
Hi Marcia. Glad you liked the video. I hope it's helpful. The Mud Slinging Pyromaniac, and several others, I bought from Clay Times magazine several years ago, when they were on special. I see they are still selling them. Cheers. Graeme..
