billhubbs
I have been told many times that Archie's Base is very common recipe, but I can't seem to find it anywhere online. Anyone have this or something similar?
bciskepottery
Archie's Base is a commercial glaze from Coyote; recipe is likely proprietary.
billhubbs
I realize this, but isn't Coyote's version just a reformulation of an Archie Bray glaze that was commonly known before Coyote's version existed? I guess I'm looking for that original recipe, or something similar to it.

Marcia Selsor
i worked with the Bray for 30+ years and am not aware of any glazes named Archie. I don't think this Archie is related to the Bray. May be some other Archie or may be a glaze named by someone who worked there short term.
