Pugaboo
Is anyone familiar with this book? Is it worth the nearly $50 including shipping it costs? Thanks T

Pugaboo
I did find older versions but am wondering if they cover the new digital controllers, does anyone know? T
bciskepottery
It looks like the 2000 version is a U.S. release of Fraser's 1994 edition originally issued in England. Have you looked at Richard Zemick's book on electric firing?
Pugaboo
I looked at it originally but it didn't seem to focus on the care, maintaining and repairing of a kiln. It seemed to cover a lot of different stuff and I don't want to spend that much on a book that only breezes over those areas I want focused on. I might be asking for too much but there has to be something out there somewhere on this subject. T
oldlady
might be time for you to write it. start with manuals from each kiln company. put them all in there and add the advice you get here.
