The pastel(s) are unique and appealing. The bone white of the porcelain certainly adds to the effects. Sometimes experimenting pays off.
-
Obviously cobalt, but adding tin perhaps?
-
Nice color development. On porcelain I assume?

PeQuad. Captain Ahab's ship from Moby Dick. Slight twist in spelling, but applicable name.

Linda: thought up a name for this piece yet?
-
Really like the detailing on this piece.
-
Nice piece. Like the softer hue and details. Local flowers?
-
Lee: think you are finding that " voice" that you have been looking for.

Interesting departure from your previous works. Then again there has always been an artsy flair to your thrown pieces. Interesting the level of gold nuggets in the piece.
-
Exceptional pice Lee.

Well done sir!

Beautiful work: definitely signature work that has "you" all over it.
-
John: I noticed you like more subtle hues, softer shading and a metamorphic contrast in color.

Yes, choc. Brown would be 12-15 plus I would guess. Have never added over 4-5 %percent

Big spread in percentages. Watching and waiting.

I have a crystalline recipe that uses cobalt and tin; plus a dash of rare earth oxide. The end result is similar to yours.
