Larisa
Hi everyone. I`ve recently bought potters pad from Minnesota Clay Company. I’m wondering if you stamp on greenware or on bisque-fired items? And whether underglaze stick to the kiln shelf? I fire to cone 6-7 and my pots are flat. I`m a bit short on time for testing currently. Thank you so much for all the answers. Callie Beller Diesel
You might get faster answers if you email the manufacturer. Their website does say most colours can be fired to cone 9, and they have an instructional video.
Min
I’ve got the Teal coloured one, doesn’t stick when fired to a very hot cone 6. Callie Beller Diesel
neilestrick
If they are typical commercial underglazes then you can apply them at any stage prior to glazing- green or bisque. Best to ask the manufacturer to be sure, though.
