Cyan
Hello there, I am going to use sodium silicate to create different types of crackle textures. I have used sodium silicate to make my terrasigilata but never on wet clay. What will happen to my clay if it gets into it? Will I have technical problems with my clay batch in the future? I would really appreciate any advice. Thank you in advance, Cyan.
Min
Hi and welcome to the Forum! I would toss any scrap or waste clay that has sodium silicate on it. It’s such a strong deflocculant you don’t want to mix it with your reclaim. Callie Beller Diesel, Hulk and Kelly in AK
