Mary Delmege
I recently inherited an old West Coast kiln. It needs some work and I'm hoping to find a manual for it. I'm glad to pay to have it scanned or copied. Thanks in advance.

neilestrick
@Mary Delmege Does it have a high limit controller on it? Post some pics of the burner system.
Mary Delmege
No high limit controller. It has six burners and we're going to switch out the orifices for propane.
neilestrick
Since you don't have a controller system, setting the venturi burners is going to be the same as any other brand. If you search here on the forum you'll be able to find lot of information about them. Once they're set properly you shouldn't have to adjust the air flaps on them, and you can control everything with just the gas and damper. I assume there's a pilot burner system of some sort? Those are usually just like a water heater- hold down the button, light the pilot, release the button once the thermocouple gets hot.
