Ben xyz
Any experience? Firing at cone 5. I had read that white transfers can be more problematic than other colors and not terribly opaque. Am using on top of a dark clay, so there will hopefully be more contrast (unless the manganese and iron in the clay affect it). Also wasn't sure if zinc in some glazes will mess with white, as it can with some colors. Curious if clear glaze on top might end up darkening the white (transfers applied to greenware), something I don't want. Roberta12
Roberta12
I have used white transfers (the rice paper kind) on dark brown clay without an issue. I glazed with clear over all and it was just fine. The white transfers stayed white. Roberta Rae Reich and Ben xyz
