Nouf
Hello, I have a stoneware bisque mug and I applied a cone 05 glaze on the inside and a cone 5 clear glaze on the outside. Is that okay? Newbie here :)
Min
Hi Nouf and welcome to the forum. Chances are this won't be okay. If it was my mug I would wash and scrub the glazes off, let the mug dry and start again using the appropriate glaze. When experimenting with new glazes it's always a good idea to try them out on test tiles first.

If you fire to ^5 the inside glaze will likely overfire and you could end up with a puddle of glaze in the bottom of the mug. Also, the glazes are likely to expand and contract differently during firing, so could craze and or shiver. However, some ^05 glazes will fire happily at ^5. The only way to really know is to test on a similar size and shape as your final product. It's no good testing on a flat tile, that won't give proper results. If it's your kiln - have a go, although I would fire on a waste slab of clay, just in case the whole thing melts/collapses.
