Corey
I teach sculpture at a highschool and use coyote cone 6 glazes. The kids will at times not tighten the lid on the glaze container and the glazes will dry out. I add water to these dried up glazes and mix them together. But now most of my glazes seem to produce only a brown color. I think that it is becuase too much water has been added to the glazes. Does anyone know of a better way to rehydrate the dried up glaze or even another use for it? Is there a way of getting the old bright colors back? I have an electric kiln - is there a way of firing these glazes that might help those bright colors to come back? Thank you for your help.
Russ
Hi Corey You might just give Martin Butts a call at 866 344 2250 in Albuquerque and ask him if he knows whats going on here. Hes the owner of Coyote Clay and has always been positively responsive in all my questions.
