Jeanetta
Hi! I have some garlic pots leftover from a cone 06 failed (over-fired) load. I don’t intend to glaze anything because of the overfiring mishap (rendering most of the pieces unusable)…. But am wondering about these garlic pots. I’m thinking that as they won’t have direct contact with liquid or normal food maybe the risks of bacteria buildup & difficulty cleaning wouldn’t be high… however I’m curious on other’s opinions here. Is there any weird clay components leaching into garlic risk I’m not thinking of? don’t want to mess with any potential health stuff many thanks! Min
Using unglazed pots as garlic keepers would be fine., is that what you meant when you said garlic pots? Or, are you thinking of the covered pots for baking garlic in?
