Norm35
I use cone 06 glazes from small (4 oz) jars. The glaze tends to dry out and when I try to thin them with water some are so "gummy" that they are almost impossible to thin. Any suggestions
Chilly
Let them dry completely. Shave them using a large loop tool to create flakes, then sieve and grind. They re-constitute much easier from dry than from the fudge stage. Don't forget a mask.
Norm35
Sounds like this would be akin to making slip from dried clay flakes. Thanks.
