  1. Thank you everyone for the feedback! I really appreciate it!! It would sit on the Concrete floor and above are wood floor joists if I install it in my basement. And it’s maybe an 8 foot ceiling. I would need to design/install a vent system but that would not be an issue because it’s near the basement window. That’s why I thought the outside shed would be the better option and I could build it myself. And your right it definitely needs to be big enough to walk around and keep my shelves and posts stored there. I am going to have an electrician take a look at it and give me some feedback to make sure it’s in good working order. Again thanks for all the input!! This is great information and I appreciate your time helping me with this!!!
  2. Hello everyone! I would like some feedback on a idea I have regarding a kiln shed. I would like to construct a shed with a coNcrete floor, cinder block walls and a metal roof to keep it dry. This will probably be about a 6x6 foot shed. I live in ohio so the weather factors in on when I can fire but I’m willing to work around that. So anyone have anything like this outside? If so hows it working for you? Any ideas thoughts, suggestions, or be brutally honest and tell me it’s a bad idea. I welcome all honest opinions! I would really like to get my pottery studio up and going soon. I have a paragon kiln from the 70s so it makes me nervous using it in my basement. Thanks for your feedback!!!
