Just got back from a three day trip in Death Valley! Professor canceled class last week so I had to be without clay for 4 days! Looking forward to getting back to the studio tonight...

It usually cools down in late November-March and the mountains get snow during storms. It is tricky in the desert, go in the summer and you get massive heat waves, go in the fall/winter the roads wash out from storms and it freezes at night. You just have to pick your weekends, the heat was not that bad because it is so dry there and most of the attractions you drive to and can do as little or as much walking around as you want.
