Simple and elegant. I cast this in white stoneware slip and added some slip trailing. The plate is glazed in matte cream with a gloss clear over the center portion.© Giselle Massey, Giselle No. 5 Handmade 2014

This is my "country fair quilt" platter. I wanted to call to mind embroidered fabric with this serving plate. It's cast from a vintage mold using white stoneware slip, then decorated with innumerable dots.
