Is this Pete's Cranberry or Pete's Red-Orange by any chance?

I'd love to see this piece by itself. The pieces behind it make things a little confusing to read.

This has a very mysterious landscape quality about it...a lot going on in a small space. Very nice!

If I haven't mentioned it recently, you're designs and brushwork execution are awesome...truly a gift.

Are the ridges only on the outside, otherwise the repotter is gonna curse you!
All other comments, thoughts are in the positive!!
Yep. The container begins life as a tall, slightly flared cylinder. The ridges are then formed using two fingers, spread slightly on the outside, and one finger pressing from the inside (between the two outside fingers).
Thanks,

Looks like it might have been a little hotter on top. What was your target cone temperature?

This is not a form that I would have considered for a vase...until now. The way the stem flows from the container, continuing a graceful line makes a lot of sense! And the glaze transitions from dark & mottled to light and airy compliment the form very well. Inspiring!!

I would love to watch your firing process some time. Very nice flashes of green around the rim!

Somehow this feels like what clay was originally intended to be...still very much part of the earth but 'birthed' into something that is true to earth and fire.

I admire the way your handles emerge from the curve of the belly...it makes me feel like the handle is truly a part of the form and not just an attachment.
Nicely done,

What a fun piece! How well does it pour?

Lucky cats! Well done narrative piece!

I feel like I am looking through a microscope viewing some crazy virus attack a living organism...impressive work! Where do you show these pieces?
-
I appreciate your attention to detail..'really makes the piece visually stronger.

Very well done...superb organic form and colors that accent the piece extremely well!

These just seem to scream, "Touch Me!" ...great wedding of the forms and the glazing technique.

Judith,
The background was created by masking off areas (literally with masking tape) and then spraying multiple layers of glaze. Thanks for the kind note!,

Nonni, I don't think LasetJet labels can be done in color. From what I understand, the pigments in color laser printing do not fire well. The black ink seems to have enough iron oxide in it to make it work. Of course, there are companies that print color decals...but I think that is different process.

These are nothing short of amazing! Beautifully done, Marcia!!

Nice work. What are the dimensions of the individual tiles?
