  1. well after crashing some mugs and reading about productivity, yesterday while studio sitting threw 7 mugs with handles (for the record ihave made kept less than a dozen handles, me no like) about 10 trinket dishes, and 2 medium plates. looking at others' shelves i was productive.... (but not at production potter level)

      I don't know how long you've been at this but don't compare yourself to high production potters.

      Whenever I do that I feel like a huge failure but the truth is I don't enjoy that kind of work anyway. I like working in batches of 2-6.

      Trimming yes handles maybe they are all yunomi sized

      Well, you can pull several long, consistently thick handles, and then cut them into small sections to fit on the smaller wares. I guess it all depends on whether not you are keeping them, in which case your desired vessel-type will dictate the need for a handle. Or, if they will just be recycled, in which case get some handle practice, while you can.

      True I need practice pulling handles. Went to trim today cylinders almost bone dry. :(. I'll make more
