I would never have thought of using that black clay for slip! Great idea! Very nice!
-
I love those stamps, Paul!! And how you used them!
-
Love that glaze!!! Nice work!
-
And I will have to find the picture of the bowl I did this summer, that looks almost identical to yours!! A lovely green with slip trailing on the inside and out. But I think your trailing is much nicer than mine!
-
I have those Xiem bulb things but aren't they are pain to fill with the slip? I have used them with trailing glazes and those are runnier than my slip.
-
Very nice slip work!! I have done a little, but have some problems with the applicator. What do you use?
-
you combined the throwing/handbuilding in a way that is very well blended!!
-
Paul, you have a very creative and lively imagination! I really like how you have taken the time to incorporate the specific elements into each piece. You used the Cricut in a way that I have not seen! Great work!!
-
I really like it also, Joseph!

I got the recipe from both Joseph F. and dhpotter. I will pass it along. I like it. And no zinc. Cone 6. Seems to take colorants well.

Old Lady, I know you are working on glazes in these photos but I have to say your trays are exquisite!

Lee! Everything looks so clean and organized!! You must feel incredibly inspired just by walking in that room!! Congrats!

I like the pairing with the turquoise.

everything is so detailed, Terry. Are the butterflies the silk screens?? Really lovely. You have definitely been having some fun!

Thank you Nerd. I made a batch of these for my daughter. She wanted a stamp put on them on the wide part of the cup. I felt the form called for something so I put the lines toward the top. When I made the next batch, I alternated, some cups have the lines at the top and some on the lower part. I have decided I like the lines on the top better. These cups have 3 glazes on them.

It is quite remarkable now!

Any clue as to why the crazing?

Gorgeous!

Beautiful! What clay are you using? A porcelain?
-
Brilliant, Celia! I never would have thought of that. I do not have a silhouette but, I do have some stencils....I am going to try that!
-
I love this Celia! I see no signs of crawling either! I am trying to wrap my head about the tissue transfers and the stencils. You lay the stencil on the bowl and then apply the dampened tissue over it?
-
I really like both the favors and the Creamers. I would not have thought of using cobalt tissue transfers applied through a stencil! Brilliant!
-
I also like the glazing and texture on the spoonrest!!!
-
Love the glaze on the catch all! That has a lot of potential! What clay body?
