I'm obsessed with organic textures, this glaze finish was inspired by actual tree bark, from a tree outside my studio.

No I haven't, but it would be fun to try, problem is we don't have birch trees here in the SF Bay area! We are too south I guess. I'm mostly influenced by the native trees around me I guess.
