I like where you are going with these pieces. I do however believe you need to highlight the detailing; fades into the back ground too much.

Thank you! This is meant to be a plain piece that can coordinate with my more highly detailed, high contrast work that I make in collections. This is the closest to no decoration I can bear.

Oh, you have me pegged. Normally I make the slip trailing as high profile as possible!

I use a Xiem precision trailer. I would be happy to PM you with tips and suggestions on using it if you'd like!

I have those Xiem bulb things but aren't they are pain to fill with the slip?  I have used them with trailing glazes and those are runnier than my slip.

And I will have to find the picture of the bowl I did this summer, that looks almost identical to yours!!  A lovely green with slip trailing on the inside and out.  But I think your trailing is much nicer than mine!

I don't use the nozzle thingy to fill them, I just squeeze the air out and suck up the slip, then wipe off the outside. Not too bad.
