this is made from Laguna soldate 60, thrown very thin and then the figural decorations were pressed out from the inside and carved on the outside for the detail, with porcelain slip and underglaze decoration. unfortunately, some of this was a little new for me, my electric kiln elements needed replacing and I made a few mistakes in the firing and lost some of the detail after spending months applying underglaze with a tiny brush, but oh well... the journey was fun.
