Raku And Horsehair Raku

raku glazes melt about ^06 or 1850 degrees F and horse hair is applied on a TS pot pulled from the kiln at 11-1200 degrees F.

You could try leaving the pot in to kiln tip the temperature drops to 1200 or so and pull it out and apply the horse. You would need to skip the post firing reduction of the raku glaze , so you would end up with copper blues or greens depending on what you are using for glaze. It could be quite lovely.
