I am making deviled eggs for my ceramics project and I was stumped on how to make the paprika. any suggestions?

Is there any glaze on the egg yolks? If yes, use dry reddish mason stain or dried reddish underglaze ground up and sprinkle on top of the yolks. If you don't have a glaze on the yolks, add a little grit or gerstley borate in with the stain or dried reddish underglaze.

What about sprinkling fine grog on top?
