claclana
Hello I could put my hands on a bigger electrical kiln (inside 17"x 24") , but I need wider more than taller... is it too crazy to use it laid on the side? may be with some external support for the walls and a fake floating floor...did anyone have done it? Thanks!
neilestrick
From a liability standpoint, no one here should say yes to that. From a practical standpoint, the bricks will probably crumble, and it'd be near impossible to get any shelves in there since the 'floor' would be curved and covered with elements. TJR
I agree with Neil. This sounds dicey. I would look for a used square or oval kiln. I don't think kilns are designed to be on their sides. TJR.
