Deborah
Just got back from a wonderful trip to Florence, Italy sponsored by the Potters Council. Marcia Selsor is a great leader and teacher and I was very fortunate to be a part of this group. Check out the 2012 schedule at La Meridiana, many great presenters! Marcia Selsor
Deborah was a great traveler and completely overwhelmed by the fabulous artwork we have all seen in the books but were face to face with it in Italy. What a nice experience to get to know you. I enjoyed being near Deborah when we would enter a museum or San Vitale just to see her reaction to overwhelming beauty of ageless mosaics or world class art. Marcia Went to Italy two years ago with my wife. My niece was studying art in Tuscany, and I had a wonderful week visiting the college in Florence, Venice, and Rome. As I was with my sisters and wife, I did a well rounded trip that did not concentrate quite as much on art and pottery as if I had been on my own. I carried a pair of binoculars in a back pack until nearly the last day of the trip when we went to the Sistine chapel, and I used them for nearly an hour and a half to the boredom of the the family. Worth every moment!
