Wyndham
I've got a request for some mugs that have a matt yellow on the outside bottom 2/3. I have Mamo that I use as a matt but what OI need is a more yellow matt to satin and I'm wondering about Alfred yellow or Ferguson yellow. Does anyone have any experience with a good gas fired c10 r yellow. Several recipes I've seen call for 15% zircopax and 3.7 % iron ox. I just don't know what that would look like. Thanks Wyndham
phill
Here is a fun recipe I made using some simple ingredients. Cone 10 Reduction Phill's Yellow Matte 50% Neph Sye 25% Kaolin 25% Whiting It is a yellow color that some call green. It's very interesting though. Wyndham
Thanks to you both, I'm loading a kiln now and can test these in this firing. Wyndham
