I used Darvan 7 as the deflocculate and I am not sure if that introduces any issues. Is there a 'proper' way to discard this material? Thanks. Callie Beller Diesel Posted August 4 Report Share Posted August 4 I don’t think the darvan will affect plants, as long as it’s a small amount. Excess clay in general may not be the best garden addition depending on your soil. But that will vary by region. Unless you’ve used certain heavy metals as colourants, you should be ok to dispose of it in the regular trash.
