Chukchi
I have a three phase kiln and one phase power supply. The power is 220, and The amp is 60. Is there a way to convert the power to operate the kiln? Thanks
Bill Kielb
New elements for 240 v service and a bit of wiring change will get you there appropriately. Find the wiring diagram for your kiln in the single phase model and build / rebuild accordingly. If a transformer is in the kiln for controller power, chęć / change the primary jumper to match 240v. For breaker / wire size check the manufactures 240v model requirements. Edited December 3, 2023 by Bill Kielb
neilestrick
Is the power actually 220V , or is it 240V or 208V? Is 60 the amperage draw of the kiln, or the size of breaker that it needs? What brand and model of kiln is it? Post a pic of the serial plate.
