15amp vs 20amp receptacle for 115v kiln

Pardon if a silly question, but if anyone is willing to give electrical advice: I have a few 15amp receptacles in my garage that are linked to 20amp breakers. Recently I bought a 115v kiln with a 20amp plug but alas, I have no 20amp receptacles. Is it as simple as me buying a 20amp receptacle and swapping it out with the 15amp receptacle, since it is still wired to a 20amp breaker? I have plenty of experience with homeowner electrical stuff (installing ceiling fans, replacing receptacles, etc.) so I know how to do the work, just wondering if I'm missing something here? Thanks in advance for any input!
