MFP Posted March 7, 2022 Report Share Posted March 7, 2022 Recently, I completely refurbished my old 1827H Olympic kiln. Both Olympic and Clay King are selling a new infinite switch. On the side of the switch where the L1 and L2 leads attached, there are two silver posts side by side and a copper post on the corner. On the adjacent corner, there's a copper post for the pilot light. L1 goes to one of the silver posts and L2 goes to the copper post on the corner. If you put L1 and L2 side by side on the silver posts, you will get to experience a truly spectacular SHORT. It apparently doesn't matter which silver post you use for L1.
