captmike
I have a Bartlett V6-CF controller I would like to use on a Paragon 110V high fire kiln. The controller was removed from a 220V kiln. I under stand the hookup of the controller, but was wondering if there was any internal programing on the V6-CF (think BIOS) that might interfere with going from 220V to 110V. I would think you would just use one of the 110V inputs and leave the other off. Any thoughts?
neilestrick
You can run the controller on 110/120 volts, but you have to wire the transformer differently. You don't just leave one of the inputs off. Take a look at THIS wiring diagram. Instead of the power for the transformer going to 1 & 4 and jumping 2 &3, the leads just go to 1 & 2. This is an L&L diagram, but the principle is the same. If Paragon is using a different type of transformer you'll want to call them to see how to wire it up.
