Tomdelux
Hi does anyone know by any chance, a recipe or formulation of Eggshell Porcelain ( and I don't mean the glazing )? It seems to be quite hard to find anything on the world wide web or dutch library. Is it one big secret? P.S. I'm more interested in the proportions and how to use color with it. neilestrick
Define Eggshell Porcelain. It may just be a term that isn't used other places.
Matt Oz
I'm pretty sure it's called eggshell porcelain because of the way objects were made, very thin like an eggshell and not any particular recipe, so you may not find one.
Tomdelux
The definition is hard to find, bone china, eggshell etc. But what I am looking is the Dutch Eggshell Porcelain Body recipe. (Roozenberg). I would like to know if someone has experience with this technique and particular how to use color and proportion of the formula. Matt Oz
Oh I see. You’re right not much information on the net other than it's a type of bone china. Good luck with your search.
