DavidF
I have some scratches on my plaster drying table and I'm worried that the reclaimed clay may pick up some plaster bits. Is there a way to harden or seal these areas to prevent plaster dust from getting into the clay?
neilestrick
If it's just scratches, not loose plaster, then you shouldn't have any trouble. If there are sharp edges that could flake off, then sand them to round them off. Putting anything on the plaster to seal or harden it would ruin the porosity of the plaster. DavidF
Thanks Neil! I will sand the area with an ultra fine grit to smooth out the edges. I appreciate your quick and targeted reply!
