Stacking different makes of kilns

In theory, yes it's possible. However there are potential issues with the control boxes fitting, wiring differences, amperage draw, etc. For starters, Skutt elements are graded but L&L are not, so the amperage draw would be different and the sections wouldn't fire evenly if you're using a single zone Skutt control box. If it's a 7-10 cubic foot kiln and the amperage increases to over 50 amps, then it won't be up to code any more because it would require hard wiring and branch fusing in the control box.  I wouldn't do it if you're not familiar with kiln wiring and electricity. It's not a simple thing.
