Min Posted October 22, 2021 Report Share Posted October 22, 2021 If you underfire lustres they can rub off, don't know which lustres you have but golds are usually in the 018 - 019 range. Considering the price of those little tiny vials of gold lustres I would fire them twice, the gold(s) will probably need to be fired hotter so I'ld do that firing first then refire to the cooler temp the other lusters need. Or put a test piece with both on it in the kiln and fire and see what happens. See if the lustre burns off if fired up to the higher cone. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
