Min Posted November 21, 2019 Report Share Posted November 21, 2019 If you are looking for a metallic gold glaze that is food safe then you're not going to find one. Metallic glazes are overloaded with heavy metals to achieve the metallic effect therefore not suitable for food surfaces. If you are looking for a gold"ish" coloured glaze there are many possibilities, some here on Glazy to start with. (I just entered gold as the search term, as I don't know what cone or atmosphere you are firing) Matte glazes cutlery mark easier than gloss glazes so for plates I would suggest trying out gloss glazes.
