Kabe
I am wanting to do some tri Azial glaze experiments for two reasons One is to further my understanding of glaze ingredients and secondly I want to set them up as a tile display that looks nice and could be used in a class room situation as a study guide of sorts. What books would you recommend or what other sources. Ain't clay fun Kabe
Marcia Selsor
Here is a website http://www.matrix2000.co.nz/matrixv6help/blends_triaxialblends.htm definition http://ceramicartsdaily.org/glossary/triaxial-blend/ It does a thorough job of explaining the process. here is a slide series http://coloradoartstudio.com/2007/04/15/cone-6-triaxial-glaze-test/ My tri axial info is on old purple ditto hand outs. A similar system from a book might be the grid system from Ian Curry. Look up Ian's books. marcia
