preeta
Would this be a good idea? Last semester i took our Terra SIG to ^5 and surprise surprise the burnish stayed. i uses a liner glaze. Might be a fluke. So next semester i want to experiment some more. I would like to smooth the pot after glaze fire on the tera SIG. Would that be a good idea? I am willing to lose the shine for smoothness.
Marcia Selsor
use a diapad. That is what David Roberts uses on his naked clay pieces. It feels like a glazed surface. Sand paper will scratch ...maybe at ^5. I think you could smooth it before the ^5 firing. Marcia
preeta
Thank you Marcia for the direction. Duh of course it makes sense using a diapad on bisque. I was inspired after reading baked clay.
