    Can you confirm that:
    - the controller is "alive"
    - it behaved exactly as it did when starting previous firings
    - it isn't displaying an error message

Did you hear any relay clicks?

    PS
    Diagrams at http://coneartkilnsshop.com/index.php/wiring-diagrams/
    ... are you using 240v?

Yes to all that, the controller is working just the same. The voltage (240v) is correct on all elements, unless the supplier mislabelled the parts which is very unlikely.

The error message is Error 1

Clicks are happening, but no heat at all is coming through.

I've checked the diagram every time, everything look right to me.

Let me post the pictures, they might help: https://imgur.com/a/fVVoAZe

Thank you so much for the reply

  2. Hi everyone, I’m at a loss right now, hope someone here has encountered a similar issue.

My kiln was in need of an element change for quite some time, so I finally took the time to change the elements (and thermocouples, and relays) but now the dang thing won’t work at all.

I’ve tried multiple times, but I’m getting absolutely no heat whatsoever. I feel like if its was an issue with some of the connections the kiln would at least be partially heating up, but I’m getting absolutely nothing. I’ve changed the elements of this kiln many times but I’m now questioning my own sanity as to if I’ve wired it wrong this time around. I’m linking some pictures to show you all.

I never worked with live voltage before, I don’t have the equipment to measure it. Would you recommend I attempt that? I live in Toronto and I haven’t found ANY kiln technicians online yet. My supplier hasn’t responded me with recommendations either.

This kiln is the livelihood of myself and 4 more people, I am absolutely terrified of the idea of not being able to fix it. Let me know if you have any input at all.
