Hi all. I’m a newbie, so I hope this isn’t too naïve a question. Is there any clay or clay additive that anyone can recommend to make a clay body that would be oven safe? In the class I’m taking they use a porcelain-like clay that fires at cone six. I’ve also been working with some cone six stoneware clay at home for hand building. But I’m told that the vessels made from these clays won’t withstand thermal shock very well.
