Hi

If I put some Iron oxide wash on a bisqued pot without glazing over it, would it stick after cone 6 firing, or might it come off and leave marks on your hands?

  Select "Start New Topic" button, go.
  
  I use red iron oxide to mark pots and test tiles so I can identify them later (which clay, which clear glaze, etc.); the pots have glaze over the marks, but not test tiles. The wash is stuck on after firing. Typically, some of the marking burns away...
