  1. I reckon it is the same as frit. As per manufacturer adding 10 - 15% to the mixture is suppose to brighten the color.
  2. Yes these are like china paints prepared by mixing medium and ceramic pigments
  3. We are using low lead colors that are recommended to fire at 760c. I would like to know the purpose of flux if it were to be added in the glaze mix. Should we still at fire at 760c or at a lower temperature. If it were to be fired at 760c with flux, would the colors soften ?
  4. The manufacturer states that the medium is mixed in a proportion of 25% to 40% with the color. What would be the effect when pigment is mixed with different medium proportions such as 25, 30, 35 and 40 percent. Would it make the color appear more vibrant if the proportion of the color is more.
  5. We are comparing the color on Cafe Beirut font and the Arabic Text. The wave color pattern is a different color
  6. Yes it probably is. I will try applying a darker shade for the english font
  7. Hi We are having an issue with applying the same color for the text Cafe Beirut and the arabic text. The text color looks the same before firing, while after firing the Cafe Beirut text appears softer than the arabic text.
